About CoverIT Device Protection
CoverIT Device Protection is an extended warranty program offered by Tech Care Partners LLC (“TCP”). CoverIT extended warranty plans are underwritten and backed by AIG, one of the largest and highest-rated insurance organizations in the world. Claims administration and the MSP Affiliate Portal are managed by OnPoint, a warranty administration company and sister company to TCP.
Extended Warranty Plans
CoverIT extended warranty plans are service contracts that provide coverage for hardware failures beyond the original manufacturer warranty period. Plans are available for new, refurbished, and used tech equipment across all major brands. Coverage terms, conditions, exclusions, and deductible requirements (if applicable) are detailed in the specific plan documents provided at the time of purchase. Used equipment may be subject to a deductible depending on the age and condition of the equipment.
CoverIT plans are not insurance policies. They are service contracts backed by an insurance company. The terms of each plan are governed by the plan documents, not by the information on this website.
Regulatory Compliance
CoverIT extended warranty plans are regulatory compliant and available for sale in all 50 states. All plans comply with applicable state and federal laws governing service contracts and extended warranties. TCP maintains all required registrations, licenses, and filings as required by each state’s regulatory authority.
Affiliate Program
MSPs who apply and are approved as CoverIT Affiliates are authorized to resell CoverIT extended warranty plans to their clients. Affiliate status is granted at the sole discretion of Tech Care Partners LLC. TCP reserves the right to approve, deny, or revoke affiliate status at any time. The terms of the affiliate relationship are governed by the Affiliate Agreement provided upon approval.
