Tech Care Partners was founded by a team of award-winning MSP owners and extended warranty industry executives who recognized a gap between technology service providers and traditional product warranty coverage.
Biography
MSPs sell a high volume of tech equipment every year, from laptops and servers to networking gear and mobile devices, but the extended warranty options available have been limited. Manufacturer programs cover only their own brands and OEM program margins are slim.
CoverIT Device Protection was built to fix that. It is an extended warranty program designed around the way MSPs actually do business: multiple brands, multiple equipment conditions, and clients spread across the country. Every plan is backed by AIG and supported by a national repair network, giving Affiliates and their clients financial strength and an efficient repair experience.

Today, Tech Care Partners serves MSPs nationwide, providing them with a competitive extended warranty product, marketing and sales support, training resources, and a dedicated affiliate portal. The team at TCP understands the MSP business model because they have built and run MSP businesses themselves.

Rob Christian
CEO, Co-Founder
Rob’s 30-year career in the Warranty Industry has included time at GE as well as at warranty insurance companies like AIG. Rob is a co-founder of Service Net Solutions and OnPoint Warranty, both warranty companies have landed on the Inc 5000 Fastest Growing Companies list multiple times.
Don Rehmel
President, Co-Founder
As an MSP owner, Don brings a unique perspective to the CoverIT warranty program. Working directly with businesses that depend on technology, he understands the gaps between traditional product warranties, the MSP and the support needs of the end user. Don is the owner of Netcomm Inc., a firm recognized among the Security Top 150, and he serves on the Board of Directors for the Jessamine County Chamber of Commerce in Kentucky.
Marshall Deese
Chief Commercial Officer
Marshall’s experience spans IT, actuarial science and business leadership. Marshall has worked at Wayfair where he led an IT development team, as well at warranty companies including Safeware and OnPoint Warranty where he led actuarial and BI/reporting functions.
