What CoverIT Plans Cover
CoverIT extended warranties provide for covered equipment: Mechanical/Electrical Defect/Breakdown and Power Surge coverage beyond the original manufacturer warranty period, as well as Accidental Damage from Handling (when purchased). Repairs and replacements are covered. Plans are available for a wide range of tech equipment, including laptops, desktops, tablets, servers, networking equipment, printers, telecom systems, and more.
While the manufacturer covers Mechanical/ Electrical Defect/Breakdown during the first year of life, CoverIT’s Accidental Damage from Handling (when purchased) and Surge Protection supplements that critical first year. Plans are available for any type or brand of new equipment your clients purchase.
Refurbished equipment is covered day one of purchase including Mechanical/Electrical Defect/Breakdown, Accidental Damage from Handling (when purchased) and Surge Protection. CoverIT does not penalize your clients for buying refurbished.
CoverIT is one of the few programs that covers equipment already out of the manufacturer warranty period. Used equipment is covered day one of plan purchase including Mechanical/Electrical Defect/Breakdown, Accidental Damage from Handling (when purchased) and Surge Protection. A small deductible may apply depending on the age and condition of the equipment. This means your clients can protect the gear they already own, not just what they are buying new.
CoverIT is not tied to any single manufacturer. Your clients can purchase coverage on HP, Dell, Lenovo, Apple, Cisco, Samsung, and any other brand of tech equipment. One program covers them all.
CoverIT plans are regulatory compliant and available for sale in every state. Your clients get the same coverage and the same pricing regardless of where they are located.
